Ensure your Den Hub is in a location without obstructions, away from metal, concrete structures, windows and is around 2 feet from the floor. Don’t place your Den Hub on or near metal surfaces such as metal shelves or boilers.
Whenever possible try positioning it to have as clear as possible line of sight with your other devices.
For best results, place your Hub at least a couple of feet away from your Wi-Fi router.
Other wireless devices around the house can also cause interferences, make sure your Hub and devices are away from:
- Baby monitors
- Wi-Fi access points on 2.4 GHz
- Microwave ovens
- Wi-Fi devices such as consoles, smart TVs, streaming devices
Whenever possible, switch your Wi-Fi router and Wi-Fi boosters to 5 GHz only. Modern devices such as Smartphones, Smart TVs and consoles support the 5 GHz band without any problems.
If you need to use 2.4 GHz band, try changing the channel used by your Wi-Fi router, for instance try using Channel 11.
Refer to the instruction manual of your Wi-Fi router for detailed instructions.
